In 2012 we have continued to keep accessibility to the forefront while delivering our services. This document summarises some of the good work that has been ongoing in Cavan County Council throughout the year.  Read on to find out more about:

Complaint Procedure

Our Inquiry Officer is responsible for dealing with complaints made under Section 38 of the Disability Act.

Cootehill Library access

Since opening its doors in September 2001 Cootehill Library has established itself as a vital service at the heart of the community. It is a fully accessible building with a fantastic collection of books, audio books and large print books for all ages and tastes.

Ramor Theatre access

Since its opening in September 1999 the Ramor Theatre has become an important venue for the performing arts in Cavan.

Cavan County Museum access

Cavan County Museum is located in the restored 19th Century Poor Clare Convent. Our collection consists of valuable artifacts relating to Cavan’s history including a wide range of medieval and archeological pieces.

Motor tax access

We continue to look at opportunities to improve accessibility of the motor tax office. We are also looking carefully at how we provide information to our customers to ensure it is available in suitable formats.

Bailieborough Library access

Bailieborough Library is a fully accessible building with a wide variety of library services available to all.
